Donna Ellene Cobb-Taylor, the eldest daughter of Mary Ada, was born on November 28, 1944. After the passing of her mother, Donna became the family matriarch, a role she has embraced with grace and devotion. She has two children, John and Jeff, who have given her a host of grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Donna's efforts in creating and maintaining the family archives have been invaluable, providing a treasure trove of memories and information for future generations. This website builds on the incredible work she has done so far, continuing her legacy of celebrating and documenting the family's heritage.
Oral History.
Oral history is a powerful tool for preserving the nuances and emotions that written records often miss. It captures the voices, accents, and inflections that make our stories uniquely ours. By listening to these recordings, you'll experience the warmth of laughter, the determination in her children's voices, and the heartfelt reflections that will be passed down through the years.
We invite all family members to contribute to Nuna's section of oral history. Whether you have a story to share or a memory to recount, your participation is invaluable. Together, we can ensure that our family's legacy is preserved and celebrated for future generations.
